Sisterhood of the World - Blog Awards

I've been nominated by the lovely Kay and Hannah at Mummy's Blog and Budding Smiles to complete a few questions about myself for the Sisterhood of the World Blog Awards.

The rules are as follows:

- Thank the Blogger who nominated you
- Put the Logo on your Blog
- Answer the 10 questions put to you by the Blogger
- Nominate 10 Bloggers
- Give the 10 Bloggers, 10 new questions

So, thank you Kay and Hannah and here are the answers to your questions…

Mummy's Blog's Questions:

1. What was your most embarrassing moment?

To be perfectly honest, I don't embarrass easily so I'm struggling to think of something! Possibly thinking I'd weed myself after birth but I hadn't. I just hadn't put my pad on right!!!

2. Did you find out the sex of your baby before they were born?

Yes we did! We found out at our 20 week scan and then confirmed at a 4D scan we had. I think we'd leave it as a surprise next time though

3. What has been your most popular blog post?

My review of the Chicco Next to Me Bedside Crib - must have hit the SEO jackpot with that one haha...

4. What has been your most useless baby/child purchase?

A hard, plastic-ey baby bath. We used it twice before Isla went into the big bath instead! She looked so uncomfortable in it. Might get a Stokke Flexi bath thing for when she can sit up

5. Cats, dogs or neither?

CATS! 100%. I'm obsessed! I do like dogs too but definitely a cat person

6. If you had a whole child-free day to yourself what would you do?

I would have a lie in (BLISS!), go for brunch with friends, go shopping, get my nails done/go for a spa day, go for cocktails at night and then sleeeeeeeeep uninterrupted!

7. Which of the blog posts you have written is your favourite? Leave a link so we can read it!

Either my birth story or a post I did on new mummy isolation

8. Do you have any phobias?

Being buried alive!!!!!

9. What’s your one tip for new bloggers?

Engage with other bloggers! There's a huge, lovely community out there waiting for you

10. What has been your best ever bargain?

I got about £300 worth of baby clothes samples from work for freeeee :)
Budding Smile's Questions:

Either my birth story or a post I did on new mummy isolation
2. How would you describe your dress/personality style?

I'm a Zara/Topshop/H&M kind of girl. Love to jazz up basics with statement accessories. If I had the funds I would be a Net-A-Porter girl for sure!
3. Which 3 songs would be top of your dream playlist?

That's hard! There's too many...
UB40 - Can't help falling in love with you (reminds me of my parents!)
Hardwell - Apollo or How we do (love a bit of dance music - must be from my time in Holland)
Mumford and Sons - The cave
4. What is your favourite hobby?

Blogging!
5. Where would you go on holiday if time and money were no object?

Round the world trip!! If I had to choose one place...probably Hawaii, or the Maldives, or Bali. AAAHH too many. Definitely round the world trip. Too many countries I want to see

City Slicker

Totally believe in fate...and karma!
8. Do you have any pets?

2 cats, one lives with my mum and dad though. They won't give her back!!!
