Happy Days #2

We had a few playdates this week with friends - on Tuesday and Thursday - and we
managed along to two baby groups as well.

Isla had her first swimming lesson in five weeks after the Christmas break and having various appointments the past couple Mondays. She was a bit unsure at first but soon got back into the swing of it. We also had a swimming baby date with friends on Friday as well which was nice. Although someone was sick in the children's pool so we had to vacate and go to the (colder) big pool for a while. Nice!

Isla had nursery on Tuesday, which went better than last week. She settled in the afternoon and was much happier with everything. Here's hoping this week is even better. She also went into the creche at Forces Family Club on Friday so I could go to the gym with some friends. It felt good to get a bit of exercise done. I'm just not finding the time anymore. Nightmare!

At the weekend we had a lovely walk down the beach which was a bit breezy but refreshing!

To be honest, we've barely spent any time at home so not much to share here! We've had lots of cuddles and Isla has found time to get up to lots of mischief as per usual...

I went to a friend's house with 2 other friends on Saturday night to have a Chinese take away and prosecco in our pyjamas. It was so much fun and it's so nice to be at a stage with new friends here where you can just meet up, have lots of chats and chill. I really missed these sorts of nights, which I used to have with friends in London/at home in Scotland regularly and it feels so lovely to be able to do it again with new friends. Always appreciate a baby free evening too!

I had a really good night on Saturday night having a take away and prosecco with friends, as mentioned above, so that would be one of my happiest moments. Also, Isla has fallen asleep on me three times this week which is quite unusual these days. When she's sleeping in my arms it makes her look like a proper baby again which I love. Fills me with silly love!

We also got confirmation that we are #bluestonebloggers and are off to Bluestone in a week with our bloggy BFFS Lilypod and Sweetpea, The London Mum and Beauty, Bump & Me. EXCITED MUCH!

Catch up with some friends in London when I go through for two brand events this week. I'd also like to do some sensory activities at home at some point. The problem is we do quite a lot of them when we're out so I don't want to over stimulate Isla!
