Weekend Mini Style #35

Dress, H&M | Cardi, H&M | Sandals, Next

£1. That's how much this dress cost. £1 in H&M's sale. Madness huh! We picked up a huge bunch of bargains last weekend so I will be filming a haul video very shortly. I love the shape, fit and length of the dress and the colours of the stripes. Basically everything about it. If I could magic it into my size I would be very happy! I was also delighted to find this plain Mustard coloured cardi for Little I and think it goes quite nicely with the contrast of the stripes.

Tee, River Island | Shirt, H&M | Jeggings, Gap | Wellies, Mothercare

This outfit is a bit of a tribute to the terrible weather we have been having recently. I've literally been shocked at how heavy the rain has been some days. Little I is also obsessed with wellies at the moment so thought it was about time we featured these. I tried to find get these in Yellow but alas they were sold out. Red is still fun though. I love this River Island tee. It hasn't been out and about it a while. That reminds me, I need to check our River Island's AW15 kid's range...

A fave from last week:

Well it had to be this little cutie in her Next 'Blogger tee'! I've also bought this for Little I and am excited for her to wear it. Kerry from All About A Mini Norris has teamed Eva's tee with the cutest H&M bottoms. How fab does she look?

Teething Necklace Review and Giveaway

Babies and necklaces. Not a great mix huh. I’ve had many a necklace literally snapped off my neck by my darling daughter when she fancied something new to play with!
Babies and teeth. Also not a good combo. Any parent knows how evil teething can be and how we will literally try anything to soothe our baby’s pain.

5 Fun Things About Being A Parent

A quick tongue in cheek post!

1. Getting to relive all your childhood faves.
Isla is a bit too young but I’m already excited for Polly Pockets, Barbies, Power Rangers, Disney films, all sorts. And I’m waiting not-so-patiently for the big one…DISNEYLAND.

Weekend Mini Style #34

Top, Asda | Cardi, Zara | Bottoms, Zara | Shoes, H&M | Hair ties, Tesco

It’s official. I am obsessed with Zara leggings. Little I must now own around 10 pairs…and counting. They just keep bring out more and more amazing prints and I can’t stop myself. I thought it would be best to team them with plain tops so that the print stood out, so I picked out the White tee and Green cardi. Always loving the leopard espadrilles.

Pigtails!

Jumper, The Little White Company | Shorts, Zara | Shoes, H&M

It’s rather warm so a pair of shorts were plucked from the wardrobe for the first time in ages. I love the neon pop of colour and this Little White Company jumper is the cutest. I love the ears on the hood!

A fave from last week:

Absolutely loving this dress from Life As Mum and the boots and top knot finish it off perfectly.

Becky Mantin's Nappy Grab Bag Review and Giveaway

We have reached an awkward stage on the old changing bag front. I is now a one year old and doesn't require as much stuff to be carted around as she used to. In saying that, if we are out for more than a couple hours, or for a day trip, I find myself filling up the changing bag to the brim!

When I first heard about Becky Mantin's Nappy Grab Bags, my first though was 'hooray! I can use my handbags again!'. You know, the designer ones that you spend far too much money on before having a baby and that your husband tuts at on a regular basis.

Weekend Mini Style #33

(SORRY FOR THE QUALITY OF THE PHOTOS THIS WEEK. HAD TO USE PHONE)

Top, H&M | Bottoms, Zara | Sandals, Next | Headband, Little Bowtique Nenagh

I have a confession. These bottoms are clearly still too big for Isla but I couldn't wait any longer. I have just rolled up the hems instead. I thought it would be fun to team the crosses with the stripes and have a bit of a clash going on. I am in love with these Zara bottoms from the *ahem* boy's section. I do love a printed harem. I did want to have a Black bow headband with this outfit but I can't find it, so we have a pop of colour with the Yellow instead.

Dress, present from Great Gran from Thailand | Denim Shirt, H&M | Espadrilles, H&M

How fab is this little dress. I love the fact it's all one colour with no prints. It's rare to find such a thing for one year old girls! This little cutie came all the way back from Isla's Great Gran's travels abroad. There is some lovely slight detailing with the Silver speckles and broderie pattern at the bottom of the dress. I teamed it with a denim shirt and our fave espadrilles so that the outfit had a bit of an edge to it and didn't end up too girly.

A fave from last week:

I think it was the gilet that made this one of my favourites from last week. Oh no wait, it was the bow. Oh no wait, it was the Converse. Scrap that. I loved all of Eat.Love.Live's post from last week!

Weekend Mini Style #32

Hooded Top, Kite at Little Chickie* | Vest, George @ Asda | Jeggings, Boots Mini Club | Headband, Little Boutique Nenagh

We have to talk about this super cute hoody from Little Chickie! The first thing that drew me to it was the colours. I am such a big Mustard fan and I thought the contrast with the Purple and Green flowers looked really great and effective. You can't fault the quality of this little cutie either. It is made with the loveliest, soft organic cotton from Turkey and feels amazing. You can tell it will definitely wear and wash well as it feels so high quality. I like the fact you can dress it up or down. Throw it over a dress or an outfit like this and it works either way. Stylish and practical.

Little Chickie also stock all sorts of other fab bits for your little ones so check them out - especially right now as they have a sale on!

I thought keeping the rest of the outfit quite plain would work well with the contrast of the floral hoody so stuck to a plain vest and leggings.

The headband just adds a pop of colour which hopefully works quite well with the colours of the flowers on the print.

Top, Zara| Bottoms, Zara | Moccasins, Hux Baby | Headband, Little Boutique Neagh

We picked this fab little jumper up in the Zara sale and what a bargain it was. I liked it ages ago but never got round to buying it so was very happy to spot it at a reduced price. I love the print and the colours, even though I'm not a huge green person. I think it was the Gold giraffe outline that really sold it to me. How cute is that??

A fave from last week:

A little Yellow coat and moccasins?! Stop it, you're killing me here with the cuteness! Not to mention this little cutie's gorgeous pose as well. I am obsessed with Yellow coats at the moment so I absolutely loved this fab little outfit on Milk and Nappies post from last week.

We Booked A Holiday!

We have finally booked a holiday! A boy what a mine field that was!

Originally we were going to be going with my family – mum, dad and brothers – but unfortunately our schedules couldn’t match up. Sad face.
It was sad enough that we wouldn’t be spending time with my family but it also created a bit of another issue in the childcare department! With no other family members around it would be just the husband and I, and we were looking forward to a bit of us time as well as family time.
